For a boy?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Gladimnotcampinginthisweather · 23/07/2021 19:46

No

sorryforswearing · 23/07/2021 20:21

No. One I knew was a bit nerdy and got referred to as Dobbin. (Not by me).

NuffSaidSam · 23/07/2021 20:23

I'm not keen.

Like it for a girl though.

NotImpossible · 23/07/2021 20:32

Lovely. For a boy or girl.

IdblowJonSnow · 23/07/2021 20:40

I love it. Especially for a winter baby.

parrotonmyshoulder · 23/07/2021 20:40

I love it

Swimminglesson7 · 23/07/2021 20:41

It’s beautiful!

DramaAlpaca · 24/07/2021 01:33

I'm so sorry, but I think it's a bit, errm, wet.

Robert is so much stronger and better.

Wantingtogetitright · 24/07/2021 01:42

Wet blanket for a boy

Love Robin for a boy.

BasiliskStare · 24/07/2021 06:37

I have a relative called Robin and he is not the least bit wet blanket. In the family he goes by a nn, at work he is Robin , never Rob or Robby etc.

bloominglovelyorange · 24/07/2021 08:33

It's nice but there's a load of popular top 100 Ro names for boys at the moment. Robin blends in with all the Rory, Roman, Ronnie, Reuben's etc when there's a few of each in the same class

missbunnyrabbit · 24/07/2021 08:53

I really like it.

MotherOfCrocodiles · 24/07/2021 08:55

Like.

Robin Hood not a wet blanket!!

Phyllis321 · 24/07/2021 08:55

Like it a lot but then I was a huge fan of Robin of Sherwood Grin

mooloop · 24/07/2021 09:00

I like it Smile

CakesOfVersailles · 24/07/2021 09:02

I like it, I have two Robins in my family (one male, one female) but the man is Robert on his birth certificate.

midsomermurderess · 24/07/2021 11:09

Why just fit for a girl? So sexist.

Scarby9 · 24/07/2021 11:11

Yes, and if he doesn't like it there is always the option of Rob, Robbie, even Bob...

Angel2702 · 24/07/2021 11:40

I like it. It’s a name that’s grown on me over the years. Wish I’d considered it for my Christmas born baby.

InTheNightWeWillWish · 24/07/2021 11:51

I like it. It’s on my list for my December due baby but DH doesn’t like it.

chaosrabbitland · 24/07/2021 11:54

i like it , nice for a boy or girl and reminds me of winter ,obviously lol

Dollywilde · 24/07/2021 12:00

Have two friends called Robin (male) and they’re both fab. I find it a bit weird when people use the Robin spelling for a girl (as opposed to Robyn) - a friend has a female Robin and they get a lot of assumptions that her DD is a boy, so I don’t think it’s necessarily a feminine-associated name.

KirstenBlest · 24/07/2021 14:33

Nice but he'll be a Robin in the same peer group as Roman, Rowan, Rory, Reuben, Rafe, Rufus, Raphael, Rafferty, etc so will same samey.
