Thoughts on Leonie Louise

Hi All. Me and the OH have been really struggling to agree on a girls name. For family reasons, Louise was always going to the middle name. We eventually discovered that we both really like Leonie. But OH is a little worried that Leonie Louise is a bit of a mouth full.

What do you all think?

It sounds like Loony Louise to me, too many of the same letters.

Absolutely fine. It's not like the Louise element will even be said aloud except for once in a blue moon.

Comedycook · 24/07/2021 12:02

It's adorable!

It’s fine. I like it. It doesn’t matter anyway, even if they didn’t go well. You have a good reason for using Louise.

HauteGirlSummer · 25/07/2021 08:23

@thesunwillout

I like it

As long as your surname isn't Cool J

😂🤣🤣🤣

If you’re worried about them being a mouthful with two Ls could you maybe use Elouise instead?

PattyPan · 26/07/2021 18:46

@ChessieFL it’s lay-OH-nee

TopOfTheHour · 26/07/2021 18:49

It's nice.

NotMeekNotObedient · 26/07/2021 18:58

I like both names but I think they are a bit too similar to have together. Could you add a second middle name in between maybe?

Moonshine160 · 26/07/2021 18:59

I think it’s a bit too much.

Tianatiers · 26/07/2021 21:10

@ChessieFL

I’m never sure how to pronounce Leonie - is it Lee-OH-nee or LEE-oh-nee?
I knew a Leonie and it was pronounced Lane-ee so I’m a bit confused about the pronunciation. But I think Leonie Louise go nicely together however it’s pronounced.
