Just would like to know your thoughts on Alexander, George and Louis please? ☺️

I have an Alexander and I love it. Versatile for nicknames. George is great, although there are so many at the minute. I like Louis. It’s very cool.

They're all perfectly fine.

All a bit bland imo. All likely to be one of many at school.

TwinsAndTrifle · 13/07/2021 23:48

As in Prince George Alexander Louis?

Enough4me · 13/07/2021 23:51

I really like the full name Alexander and Zander/Zand, but not Alex. The other 2 names are ok.

DramaAlpaca · 14/07/2021 00:24

Very royal.

Kanaloa · 14/07/2021 00:25

Beautiful, you should use them all together in one name. Maybe Alexander Louis George, or Louis George Alexander.

Theoldwoman · 14/07/2021 04:49

Love Alexander (not Alex though) and George.

Violetlavenders · 14/07/2021 08:37

Not very memorable.

CrouchEndTiger12 · 14/07/2021 08:40

Why does a name have to be memorable? Have you all given your children names such as Horatio, Orlando, etc

My name is an old classic and I am eternally grateful. My sister got a name that was popular in the 80s and it has dated horribly.

CrouchEndTiger12 · 14/07/2021 08:41

They are all wonderful names. Can't go wrong with any of them?

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 14/07/2021 10:59

Alexander is lovely - so classic, timeless and international with loads of nn options. As long as you are okay with the potential nn Alex, it seems the perfect name imo (I personally prefer Lex, Xan, Xander or Sasha but they might be harder to push and of course there's also Scottish Alec and Sandy).

George is very timeless too - just not my taste as it always feels a bit stodgy to me.

Louis is okay but somehow sounds more trendy to me than the other two (despite being a very old French name!)

My little boy is called Xander and we love it. We quite liked Alexander but didn't want him to end up being called Alex for short. Pleased we went for Xander as it isn't as common

All lovely names.
