Which do you prefer

• Ella or Zara

Both fairly popular names, I love them both. Ella I’m worried that it’s too overly used and Zara I’m worried it’s too harsh/association with the clothing shop. Would love to hear what you think.

Prefer Ella. Very pretty name others I like are: Mila, Alea, Isla and Lila

I prefer Zara out of the two as Ella is so overused and she would probably be one of many in her cohort at school etc. Don't know if that bothers you but it would me.

I'm not a massive fan of Ella. I can see how it's pretty, but I think it is a tiny bit dated now. I think it was really popular a few years back?

I really like Zara, i think it sounds cool but feminine. Not so keen on Ella but it’s a perfectly good name if you like it.

Ella is more feminine IMO but I prefer Zara.
