Awful, sounds like a sanitary product brand.

Unusual and lovely

EssentialHummus · 10/07/2021 18:59

Not my cup of tea but alright I guess.

Marmite27 · 10/07/2021 18:59

I know a 4 year old Cosima. It suits her, but it’s not what I’d name my child.

daisypond · 10/07/2021 19:00

I like it. Check you are pronouncing it properly. It’s very dated in Italy, but if you’re not there, I suppose you won’t care.

FelicityPike · 10/07/2021 19:01

Love it. Beautiful name.

openthewineplease · 10/07/2021 19:03

From Orphan Black on Netflix ?

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 10/07/2021 19:03

I like it

Pieceofpurplesky · 10/07/2021 19:06

Orphan Black. I love Cosima and Delphine

gollymissdolly · 10/07/2021 19:07

I know a Cosima who is now in her 20s

MadeOfStarStuff · 10/07/2021 19:07

I like it (probably because I like Cosima from Orphan Black)

daisypond · 10/07/2021 19:12

The

daisypond · 10/07/2021 19:13

The Orphan Black character is pronounced wrongly, though.

DemBonesDemBones · 10/07/2021 19:14

I absolutely love it!

BunnyRuddington · 10/07/2021 19:16

I really like it.

Isn't it Nigella's DD's name?

Chachachawoo · 10/07/2021 19:31

I love it.
Nigella daughter is called Cosima.
I think it's elegant and beautiful

Classica · 10/07/2021 19:59

Yes it reminds me of Nigella, who calls her Cosima Mimi.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 10/07/2021 21:04

Quite brave (and slightly upper class), but I don't dislike it - actually I think it's fairly elegant and cool sounding. My only concern personally is that she might be known as Cossie ("Cozz -ee") - as that what most people called their swimming costume where I grew up, so it sounds weird to me as a nn!

Ikeameatballs · 10/07/2021 22:23

I like it :)

DramaAlpaca · 10/07/2021 22:31

A big yes from me.

Snoopsnoggysnog · 10/07/2021 22:38

I really like it but wondering what the correct pronunciation is?

KillerFlamingo · 10/07/2021 23:30

Lovely!

DramaAlpaca · 10/07/2021 23:35

@Snoopsnoggysnog it's pronounced with the stress on the first syllable, sort of like cozzy-mah.
