Jelly45678 · 10/07/2021 01:14

Name changed for obvious reasons!

Currently we have an Arabella and a Florence.

Some names we like are:
Ottilie
Mabel
Primrose
Juliet

Any other suggestions?

Thank you so much for suggestions so far. I’m going to discuss with DH.

What do people think to the name (and middle name) Ottilie Juliet? Does it flow?

Otillie Juliet flows nicely to my ear. It sounds very French. I don’t say that as a positive or a negative, it’s just a Lyn observation.

Ophelia

Araminta? I knew one at Uni, known as Minty.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 12/07/2021 00:41

Juliet/Juliette Ottilie flows better

The first names that came to mind when I saw your thread were Honor, Miranda & Eliza

Clara

Venetia
Penelope

I’m not keen on the sound of Otillie — and if people want to shorten it then Ot sounds dire.

JohnnyEnglish · 12/07/2021 14:13

Love your list except Primrose which always makes me think of Harold Ship man’s wife who I don’t think suits the name.
