Have also heard of it as Slovenian name.

Are you of either Indian or Slovenian heritage? If Indian - you'd possibly know that naming kids after deities would be slightly old fashioned in urban Indian circles.

Unfortunately as a Japanese speaker it’s a no for me as it means horse.
