A friend's grandad, born around 1890 into a God-fearing Chapel family, was one of 11 boys, all with fabulous Old Testament names. He was Absalom, but a few of his brothers I remember were Seth, Levi, Zachariah, Amos and Hosea.

Jeremiah, nickname Jem or Jemmy.

I love Caleb, Gabriel, and Eli.

I knew a Samson, great name as long as your family genes aren't short and skinny.
