Middle Name For Marnie

Hi Everyone,

Currently 34 weeks and Husband and I think we are set on the name Marnie.

We currently have 4 options for middle names;

Marnie Rose
Marnie Alexandra
Marnie Elizabeth
Marnie Florence

Curious to know everyone's opinions on these choices or does anyone have any suggestions?

Our surname is 2 syllables, starts with T and ends in T.

As a little background our back up name option is Rosie, but current popularity of it has put us off a bit.

I like Rose the best, I think a shorter name works better.

Marnie Rose flows best out of all your options but the popularity of Rose would put me off.

Rose fits 99% of names but to me its a bit meh. Not the popularity of it, just the sound.
I'm getting tongue tied saying Marnie Florence. In my head its coming out as
Marlie Flonence/ Mari/Flolence.

Marnie Alexandra is lovely

In my head its coming out as Marlie Florence I have the same issue with Florence. Marnie Elizabeth and Marnie Alexandra also become Marlie Elizabeth and Marlie Alexandra. I think it's because the L is in the first syllable of all those middle names.

I thought Marnie Rose before I saw your options. X

I really like Marnie Florence and Marnie Elizabeth. I like Marnie Rose too. However, Rose is quite common as a middle name and if you both still like Rosie, maybe you should hold that name back for a potential future baby girl name.

Every other girl had the middle name Rose, it’s a complete filler name. I like Florence.

If you aren’t planning on using her middle day to day it doesn’t matter that much how well it flows. I’m not sure I’ve said my own DC’s full names more than a handful of times each. I’ve gone off my DD’s middle and am kind of planning on just forgetting that it’s there if I’m honest.

Absolutely love the name Marnie and think Marnie Elizabeth or Marnie Florence is perfect
