Final 3 boys names - help!!

My husband and I have been going around in circles trying to decide which boys name we like the most!
We already have a son called Alexander shortened to Alex.

Names we have shortlisted are -
Zachary (like that this can be shortened to Zach)
Joshua (similar like that this is a longer name that can be shortened)
Max (I really like this name but don’t like the longer versions so would be Max on birth certificate. Not sure if this goes as well with Alexander)

Would love to know which name you like the most. I know all these names are pretty popular but are there any that seem to be everywhere?

Alexander (Alex) and Joshua (Josh)

Max! I do like Joshua too, it did used to be one of the boys names I liked but I’m a teacher and I’ve gone off it over the years after meeting a few 😂

Zachary/Zach
Goes best with Alexander/Alex.
I also like it best out of the options.

Max and it's fine with Alex. I can think of two brothers with these names. Big hint, the surname was Moseley.

Alex and Joshua

Alex and Max sounds too similar, especially when shouted from a distance.

Zach 100%

Zach and Alex.

They go well together when said aloud/yelled across a playground/or when boomed 'Alex, stop torturing your brother!'

My first choice would be Zachary. I think Alex and Zach sound nice together.

Max, although prefer it as the longer Maximilian for birth cert

Zach or Josh - I love both of them but don't like the repeated X in Alex and Max.

I like them all but Josh(ua) is my favourite :)

Joshua then Zackery would be my favourites. I think Max is a bit too close in sound to Alex, not an issue as adults but maybe called across the park as children.

Zach, hands down!

I know 3 families that have an Alex and Max. All are officially Alexander and Max. I've never thought them too similar. I much prefer Max to Joshua personally and slightly prefer it to Zachary too.

I used to like the name Zachary but Zackery has put me right off it.

I prefer Zachary. Alex and Zach sound nice together.

I like Joshua. Alex & Josh sounds nice together, lovely solid names.
