Name for a second twin

Bells3032 · 28/06/2021 14:28

Ok waaaay too early but I am bored so eh. I discovered I am pregnant with twins. We had always had names for each sex picked out but now worried we'll have two of the same sex.

The first girls name would be Isabelle (Izzy) Jessica
The first boys name would be Zachary Isaac

If we have a second of the same sex I'd like to use Frances/Francis as a middle name but no idea on a first name.

Obv we like traditional but not overly common names. Don't want anything hard to spell or pronounce and I am hard of hearing so nothing to similar in sound to the other names.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If it’s two boys why not use Zachary for one and Isaac for the other?

Couldn't you call them Isabelle and Jessica, one with a middle name of Frances and one with an alternative?

Likewise Zachary and Isaac, one with a middle name of Francis and one with an alternative?

Congratulations first of all!

For boys, I like:

Caleb
Nathaniel
Samuel

For girls, I've gone with names to match Isabelle and her name meaning, which is "beautiful."

Bonnie (beautiful and cheerful)
Beatrice/Beatrix (bringer of happiness)
Alana (cheerful)
Dorothy (gift of God)
Felicity (good fortune/happy)
Naomi (pleasantness)

Exactly what I was going to say. Then you only need one more middle name. They are all beautiful names.
Hopeful16 · 28/06/2021 21:54

Are Zachary and Isaac not too similar - both both a 'zac' sound in them???

@youvegottenminuteslynn we actually don't like the names isaac, Jessica and Frances that much but they're there to honour gone grandparents. Like them enough for a middle name but not for first. Plus id find it weird to call my kid the same name as my grandparent

Thanks for all the suggestions guys

Ah i see.

I think Isabelle is lovely with Holly. No idea why, it just works in my head!

PercyPie · 28/06/2021 23:08

Zachary Francis & Jude Isaac would be a cute pairing for boys names x

I like Izzy and Emmi for girls x
