Finally announced to our families that we are 15 weeks pregnant today. I was after thoughts on my baby names please. Myself, my son and my mum all have 2 middle names so my partner and I would like to carry on this tradition with this baby.

Girl - Talia Joan Wendy Surname (Joan is my nans middle name who passed away and Wendy is my partners nans name who is the only grandparent he has known)

Boy - Thomas William Wilfred Surname (Thomas William is my after my great grandfather who passed away but I was extremely close too and Wilfred
Is my partners dad name who passed away when he was a boy)

What are your thoughts please? Thankyou

No one outside of the family ever really knows middle names.
They’re both fine names.

Lovely names. I was a little hesitant first off about William Wilfred as middle names, as there is the repeated "Will" sound, but as they are both after family members who you were close to, I think that's fine. I think it's nice for middle names to have some sort of family connection or story behind them. Smile

Lovely. How are you pronouncing Talia?

Lovely choices - I always think it's nice to honour loved ones with middle names and both Talia and Thomas are beautiful names. Only thing to bare in mind is that Talia can also be spelt Thalia so she may need to spell her name occasionally for people (probably not a big deal?) and obviously Thomas is still quite popular at the moment (for a reason, it's a very classic name imo!).

How lovely Smile

I'd switch William and Wilfred as it seems easier for me to say thay way around.

Talia we want to pronounce as Tar - Leah. We couldn't decide whether we wanted the 'h' in it but thought the pronunciation would be different.
