It’s a completely classy simple and beautiful name but it’s spelt HONOR

Terrazzo · 20/06/2021 20:13

I prefer Honor

DramaAlpaca · 20/06/2021 20:13

Gorgeous name, but please spell it correctly. It's Honor.

Bushybrow · 20/06/2021 20:14

Or Honor.. I like both x

Love it spelt Honor

Hotpinkangel19 · 20/06/2021 20:14

I don't like it.

AdriannaP · 20/06/2021 20:15

Lovely

Waxlyrically · 20/06/2021 20:16

It was my lovely Mums name. She spelt it Honour not Honor. I love it obviously!

Frazzled2207 · 20/06/2021 20:17

Honor

Bushybrow · 20/06/2021 20:18

I always think of Honor as American but I guess it's the accepted name spelling of the name.

@Waxlyrically that's so lovely! X

I like Honor. Good choice

SeanChailleach · 20/06/2021 20:46

Lovely name.

Jeschara · 20/06/2021 21:42

Lovely name, prefer it spelt Honor.

TatianaBis · 20/06/2021 21:44

Love it.

TempsPerdu · 20/06/2021 21:46

Absolutely stunning name… spelt Honor. Would have used it for DD in a heartbeat, but DP vetoed it.

stellarfox · 20/06/2021 22:23

I like it! I’ve only seen it spelt honor too. Maybe check the ONS charts to see if honour is also used. I’d go with the most used to be honest

Chilldonaldchill · 20/06/2021 23:05

I like it but there were two in dd's year at school and both were absolute horrors.
I still like the name though. And I would definitely use the traditional Honor spelling - even though I don't like Americanisation of normal words it looks much better here.

Happenchance · 21/06/2021 00:07

I really don't like it. With all the honour killings going on in the world, I don't understand why Honour is still used as a female name.

MegaCityOne · 21/06/2021 00:11

It’s part of a sentence.
Honour head
Honour bike
Honour own
Honour back
I like it, but wouldn’t use it for that reason.

Posieandpip · 21/06/2021 00:17

Love Honor!

peaceinourtime · 21/06/2021 05:33

Nice, I prefer it spelt Honour like you posted not Honor the American way. I think people just accept/expect it to be that way as its a more common name in America?

drpet49 · 21/06/2021 06:44

Don’t like it. Reminds me of honour killing term.

yikesanotherbooboo · 21/06/2021 07:00

Honor is the usual spelling, it's a lovely name.

NewlyGranny · 21/06/2021 07:08

Honoria is a variant, with Honor or Nora for short.

LactoseTheIntolerant · 21/06/2021 07:09

I love it! I taught an Honor who was the sweetest girl so it has positive connotations for me anyway.
