Marcie / Cleo

I like these names for a girl, what do people think? Surname is a 4 syllable Italian name so don’t want a long or too Italian sounding first name.

leaning towards Jack or Louis for a boy…

Marcie grates on me (reminds me of mardy, arsy, smarmy etc)

but I LOVE Cleo. Always have. It's quite a cool, sassy name.

Cleo is very cool. Less keen on Marcie - not as nice a sound, plus a bit nicknamey (for Marcia or Marcella I'd assume).

Marcie isn't awful but it does remind me of Peppermint Patty's poor put upon friend in Charlie Brown.

Cleo seems much more grown-up and classy. Marcie sounds like a nickname.

Cleo is gorgeous. Marcie ok but I prefer Marcia or Marnie.

I think Marcie is so pretty but also a cool girl name. Go for it!

Thanks for the comments… perhaps Cleo and Marcie as a middle name. I like Cleo as the baby will be a Leo and Marcello is granddads name, so fits with Marcie.

I prefer Cleo of the two but it is seen as a bit downmarket in my local area. I really don't like Marcie though, although I love Marsha and Marnie which are both very similar

Cleo Marcella sounds 1000 times more classy, elegant and beautiful than Cleo Marcie in my humble opinion.

Oh and I really like Jack but am very bored of Louis atm, they seem to be everywhere
