What do you think of when you hear the name Laetitia? Do you like it/ dislike? Tia

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SoapboxFox · 10/06/2021 13:54

It's OK but a bit sneezy.

Seesawmummadaw · 10/06/2021 13:55

Not my taste. Dislike.

Christmasbird · 10/06/2021 14:10

Not nice, sorry. Reminds me of Patricia

Zarene · 10/06/2021 14:16

I like it, especially the potential NN Tish

TatianaBis · 10/06/2021 16:33

Very pretty.

I know a stunning French Laeticia.

Lettie, Tish or Cici.

Violetlavenders · 10/06/2021 17:25

Beautiful in French!

LoopTheLoops · 10/06/2021 17:28

Not a fan

BrownEyedGirl80 · 10/06/2021 17:33

I think the Tit in the middle would cause comments from other children

Serpenta · 10/06/2021 19:07

I think of Laetitia Dean and her crispy hair extensions.

I don't like it.

TheWashingMachine · 10/06/2021 19:09

Ghastly

JustineTimee · 10/06/2021 19:12

I absolutely love it! I think of someone elegant, feminine, extraordinary and somehow mysterious.

TatianaBis · 10/06/2021 19:15

OP this forum is incredibly conservative slash insular. If it’s not Elizabeth, Eleanor, Olivia, Ava, Grace or Lily - you will get hostility.

SionnachRua · 10/06/2021 19:16

Love it.

Cotswoldmama · 10/06/2021 19:24

I also think of Laetitia Dean!

user1493494961 · 10/06/2021 19:27

I think of someone the opposite of feminine and elegant.

headintheproverbial · 10/06/2021 19:34

I like.

DirectionsForUse · 10/06/2021 19:54

I don't think I've e ever seen it written down and as in not sure how you'd say it I don't know if I've heard it either.

I looks like a lifetime of being misheard and having your name mispelt to me.

DirectionsForUse · 10/06/2021 19:56

It's Letitia Dean, which kind of proves my point Grin

Ughmaybenot · 10/06/2021 20:01

I don’t think I’ve ever seen it spelled that way. That said, I am presuming it is pronounced the same way as Leticia, and not Lay-ticia?
I don’t love it to be honest. Either version! I just don’t like the way it sounds, altho letty is quite a cute nn.

Synchrony · 10/06/2021 21:40

The one I know is gorgeous and lovely so I think of her.

Ellmau · 10/06/2021 21:42

Laetitia is the original spelling, but most people will spell it Letitia.

Imissmoominmama · 10/06/2021 21:46

I don’t like it- it’s frilly sounding.

adrianmolesmole · 11/06/2021 00:04

I don't like, very harsh and angular sounding. A dated 80s name to me.

Greenmarmalade · 11/06/2021 00:12

Gorgeous name

DramaAlpaca · 11/06/2021 00:14

Far too fussy for me, though I do like Lettie.
