Eliana is yet another Ellie and Amara is yet another vowel heavy name.

If I had to pick, Amara, but would probably go for Tamara instead.

Eliana. Lovely Roman/Italian name.

Amara means "bitter" in Italian, so doesn't sound as nice to me.

I'd choose Amara - it's getting more popular, but does have a nice sound imo. Eliana is a bit frilly sounding for me (plus if you are in the UK, there are so many Ellie's/Ella's already that Eliana just blurs).
