My top names for a boy and girl respectively..

One little setback is that DH doesn't like either. If I like those, do you have any other suggestions we may like?

Off the cards are Oscar, Chloe for the obvious alternatives.

Thanks!

Aster for a boy maybe?

Cleo is on my long-list too, it’s a lovely name, can’t think of any alternatives... maybe Claudia at a push

I think Cleo could be a much better nn for clementine then clem!

What names does your DH like?

Violetlavenders · 05/06/2021 10:36

Cleo sounds very different to Clem or Clementine - they feel like completely different names.

I know a Cleo short for Cleopatra!

I wouldn't have both if you end up with one of each later on, it would sound like a car collection.

I quite like Austin. Alternatives: Ashton, Alexander, Sefton, Otto, Cassian, Justin, Anselm, Arlo, Wystan, Dunstan, Anson, Alban, Hugo, Milo

Cleo I'm not so keen on as a standalone. Options: Hero, Juno, Clarissa, Calliope, Aster, Clover, Cassandra, Cressida, Coco, Celeste, Annis
