Most unusual but useable names...

... you’ve ever heard? I worked with a lady called Vega (pronounced Vay-gah) and had a female neighbour called Kinny once. A friends’ boyfriend is called Quin (he’s mid-30s).

What names have you heard that are unusual but don’t really make people question them?

Shameka. With an m.
Seneca - named for his Native American ancestors, not the Greek philosopher.
Sequoia - although, to be fair, he tended to say very quickly that his parents were big Scrabble fans and preferred to be known as Quoi.

I'm not sure I'd question any name now, to be honest. There is such huge variety and, if I don't recognise a name, I would assume it had origins in another culture/country.
