I would avoid it for another say 10 years, although it is past its peak and dropping in popularity according to the data. I think its a sweet, youthful nickname but a bit twee on an adult. Ella is similar and extremely popular. Due to Bridgerton Eloise will probably climb the charts. Lily which sounds very similar appears in the Top 100 twice and given that it's Meghan and Harrys DDs name it's going to stick around for a while. So there will be plenty Elsies, Lilys, Ellas, Eloises, Elizabeth & Eleanors running around.
