Middle name for Thea

Our first DD is due in August and we are pretty much settled on the name Thea, but stuck for middle names.

Ideas so far -
Thea Elizabeth
Thea Charlotte
Thea Clare

Do these sound okay or has anyone got any other suggestions? Smile

Thanks!

I really like Thea Clare.

coffeepleeease · 19/05/2021 14:44

I have Thea Louise

emmathedilemma · 19/05/2021 14:54

I like them all but think it depends how long your surname is. If its one syllable then I'd go with Elizabeth or Charlotte as Clare would sound quite blunt e.g. Thea Clare Bell but it would flow fine with a longer surname.

Thea Madeline
Thea Penelope
Thea Cecily
Thea Naomi
Thea Catherine

I like Thea Elizabeth. Or;
Thea Frances
Thea Florence
Thea Alice
Thea Katherine

Thank you all! Loving these suggestions especially Madeline and Alice. Good point about the surname, ours is quite short so perhaps a longer middle name is the way to go.

Rose, or Rosemary if you need something longer.

I like Clare, but Thea Clare sounds too similar to The Eclair.

Olinguita · 20/05/2021 00:00

I'd suggest Thea Grace or Thea Catherine, but honestly all of your suggestions are great too!

I was just about to say this. Thea Charlotte probably flows best, although I'm not crazy about Charlotte as a name... Thea is lovely, though

Ooh, Catherine. That's lovely.

I have a Thea Delilah. My shortlist had lots of the names suggested - Thea Alice, Thea Grace, Thea Catherine, Thea Florence, Thea Louise, Thea Rose. Also Thea Imogen and Thea Juliette.
I agree with pp about thinking about the flow of the name with your surname.
Thea is a lovely name!

I know a Thea Rebecca.
