Katie Price is having another baby called Miracle. What does everyone think of this name? I actually really love it.

Poor child.

It's a huge name to live with.

It's not a name, unless maybe for a pony, or a boat?

Think of the grown adults you encounter on a daily basis and now imagine they introduced themselves to you as 'Miracle'.

Makes me think 'christian fundamentalist'

Given she already has a child called Princess, it doesn’t surprise me enormously that she has another hyperbolic name chosen

Wasn’t the original story that she named Harvey after Harvey Nichols as it was her favourite shop..?

Its better than Bunny or Princess Tiaamii

She's not exactly having another baby. She said she will try IVF in order to try for her 6Th child.
She isn't currently pregnant though

I teach an African child called Miracle. I wouldn't bat an eyelid at this as a name.

Oh my bad I saw a news article and assumed she was already pregnant. Seems like most people aren't keen.

Dare I say, my many on MN don't have much cultural awareness. The name itself is fine. It's a typical name I'd expect in Africa, particularly Nigeria. Wouldn't bat an eye.

Bit more unusual for an English child. But some of you act like she's calling her child Syphillis. Miracle is no more odd than any other virtue name.

Yes she's planning to have IVF and says it would be a 'Miracle' therefore the child would be called Miracle.

There's more reasons than just this awful name that I already feel sorry for this child

@RachelRaven If that's aimed at me I totally accept now it's been pointed out that Miracle is a good fit with the Charity, Faith, Patience & Hope style names popular in Africa. Although I know at least one of each of the above it didn't initially click into place as being of the same branch of names.

That said, call me a cynic but I doubt Miss Price has picked the name as a nod to African culture and traditions. And the fact she's not even pregnant... well

Its my nieces 2nd middle name (never used) as she teally was a miracle baby and it was very fitting. Im not sure anyone is aware of it.

Not sure what the boy version would be...perhaps The Great Miraculo...a future magician for sure! 😅

It seems arrogant and ostentatious to me, and sort of sets this child up as more wanted than her siblings.
