How do you pronounce it? If you’ve ever met a Marcia, how did they pronounce it?

Never met one in RL. I suspect she might get Mar - sha like "The Brady Brunch" as that association is pretty strong for many people.

Ive known two.
One prounounced Marsha (she is American) and one pronounced Mar-see-a.

I once knew a lovely Marcia. Pronounced Mar-see-uh.

I've met one pronounced Mar See Ah love this name! And Marcie. (Mar see) and we loved it for our baby born due in June, but our dogs called Marty and can see him coming running every time we shouted Marcie 😂

I know a Marcia who is under 10. She pronounces it Mar-see-ah.

I prefer the Mar-see-a pronunciation, but Marsha is an acceptable alternative, so whichever you like more. But either way there will be lots of correcting people who get it wrong.
