Middle name for Zara?

We are pretty much set on Zara, but are struggling for a middle name. I really like Italian names as I am Italian but my husband dislikes all of my suggestions, and I find his a bit boring.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

What about Matilda or Beatrice? I think it’s hard because so many names end with A and it doesn’t work so well with Zara, especially the two syllable names like Anna, Emma and Greta.

If you have a name that ends with a I prefer the 3 or 4 syllable names like Ludovica, Martina and Sofia ( I know it’s really popular but still beautiful ) .

I think your husband needs to compromise - it’s normal to want a name that reflects your heritage. I’m assuming that he has chosen the babies last name so it’s only fair that you choose the first and middle names.

Or swap and give baby your last name and he can chose the first and middle name.

Things are not 50:50 here - it’s you who is carrying the baby and giving birth and I assume that you are taking the most family leave to care for the baby. So he should defer to your choices if you can’t agree.

How about Lucia? That would work with Zara 😊

I think it needs to be a 3 or 4 syllable name. Personally I love Penelope.
