Torn for baby boy

Me and my husband are stuck for a boy name, we like these atm...

Rex
Otto
Zeke

Thoughts?

I thought you were thinking of calling him Torn for a minute then.😂😂.
I like Rex.
Otto is okay.
I quite like Zeke if its pronounced Zeek.
I'm not too keen on Bodhi.

Zeke and Rex are cool but sound "trendy" if that bothers you.

Not keen on Otto but that's because it makes me think of Anne Frank and Nazi Germany. Also dislike Bodhi because I went to school with a total dickhead one... Neither are real reasons not to use though so feel free to ignore me

Zeke is OK, Otto at a push, Bodhi is so wannabe. You might be a free spirited hippy, and want to shout it from the rooftops, your son might be a banker, or Tory politician.

Torn might be weird but Torrin is lovely just FYI.

I know someone who named their baby, 'Torin' (one 'n'). I like that name, it's French I think. One of the grandmothers, who came from Guernsey, had the name as a surname which is how they came up with it.

I know a Scottish Torrin/Torin (not sure on spelling), I thought it was Gaelic!

From your list I would choose Bodhi or Zeke

I'm so curious as to where Bodhi has come from. I'd never heard this time last year but since then it pops up everywhere.

It's such a hard decision, I think girls are a lot easier to name.

We love more unusual names but also don't want to go too mad for him.

I met a little boy called Colton last week, I really liked it. Unusual but easy to spell and pronounce!

If you like those, we know a boy called Dashiel. DD hipster-coughs his name. Not outside the house.

They're all awful.
Sound very common.

He will grow up one day and be judged on his name- regardless of the virtue signallers on here who insist they'd never judge a person by their name.

Otto would be my first choice. Have you considered Otis?

Other than Casper, which is fine, I think they are all absolutely awful - they all just sound like made up names of the minute, other than Otto which makes me think of Nazis and Axel which makes me think of dodgy bands.

I like Rex and Zeke.
