It's a classic name what do people think about it? My surname is Mason.., and we are thinking about the middle names Matilda Rose.

Would love any more suggestions that go with Mason :)

I love it, and it sounds great with the middle names too.

Divineswirls · 28/04/2021 14:09

Yep, great name.

Lucy Mason is sweet and classic

Molly Mason, Polly Mason, Flora Mason, Felicity Mason, Charlotte Mason, Sophie Mason, Clover Mason, Marianne Mason, Margot Mason, Annabel Mason

There are a lot of Roses as middle names (like May and Grace) lovely though it is

serin · 28/04/2021 19:13

Gorgeous, timeless classic name.

Fuiseog · 28/04/2021 19:14

What a beautiful name ❤️

MarshaBradyo · 28/04/2021 19:16

Very nice but better without the Rose

Stichintime · 28/04/2021 19:18

Lovely. Think Lucy Maria Mason is nice.

annaboo2 · 28/04/2021 20:09

It’s a tiny bit twee in my opinion but classic enough as to not matter. I could do without Rose.

Pinkypink · 28/04/2021 20:58

Love it. Sounds great.
Elegant and classic

Talkwhilstyouwalk · 28/04/2021 21:01

Nice name, I think it's an abbreviation of Lucinda.

DramaAlpaca · 28/04/2021 21:28

Lucy is lovely, it's short and sweet without being cutesy. Love the combo with the middle names too.

idontlikealdi · 28/04/2021 21:48

Love it

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 29/04/2021 01:21

Lucy is so classic but it does feel slightly sweet/cutesy to me for some reason (a bit like similar Amy). I personally prefer the sound of other classic "ee" ending names - Sophie, Lily, Mary and Emily (and Verity and Felicity too, although I don't know that they count as so classic).

I like both Matilda and Rose - although I much prefer Rose as a first name as it feels overused as a middle imo. The alliteration of Matilda Mason is very cool though, I'd be tempted to consider that as a first name too.

alexdgr8 · 29/04/2021 01:25

good choice.
she will go far, with a suitable name, and sensible parents.
good luck to you all.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 29/04/2021 01:40

You might also like Eleanor, Julia or Lydia? For some reason I like the flow of a 3 syllable first name with Mason.

mamablondie33 · 01/05/2021 08:58

I’d be tempted to just go with Lucy Rose Mason.

StevieNix · 01/05/2021 09:00

I like Matilda mason the best!
Lucy is nice too though, although I’d definitely miss out the rose - it’s a very ‘filler’ sort of middle name.

MooChops89 · 01/05/2021 09:05

I have a 3yo Lucy, we chose it because it's suitable for any age - cute for a baby, not too cutesy for a teen or adult

NameChange30 · 01/05/2021 09:21

I like Lucy, it's a classic.
If there's a chance you might have any more children in future, don't use a name that you might want to use as a first name (Matilda maybe?)
I like family names as middle names, personally.
