Well surely it's your DC's names which would be too outing Wink but then I suppose I would have chosen differently if I don't have to agree with DH.

When I was little I wanted to have girl twins called Tabitha & Matilda ( Tilly & Milly.) When I was a teenager I assumed I'd only have only child and wanted a boy called Henry.

Excluding my children’s names, I currently love Adelaide and Dashiell

My favourite girls' name of all time is Emma.

I have three boys so didn't get to use it.

My favourite girls name ever is Demelza. Got vetoed by both dhs! I currently love Lemuel for a boy. That would probably go the same way

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 27/04/2021 23:23

Nikita on a girl (but I'm not brave enough to use it, as it's not my usual more classic style).

@Tillygetsit snap with Demelza! I love that, but could never have used it with my surname. I had a boy anyway.

mory87 · 28/04/2021 19:31

My favourite name for girls are:

Elizabeth (my favourite book of all time is P&P, but my husband is not really keen on the name)
Madeline (also inspired by the books, however, could have a slight bad connotation?)

Boys favourite names are:
Oliver
Orson

I love the name Aurelie/Orly but was worried it would sound to much like orally since we are not French.
Also love the name Camille and the nn Cami but again the pronunciation would never be right...
All my fav boys names were taken by my many male relatives:
Dan, Ben, Joel, Jake, Max

CaffiSaliMali · 29/04/2021 08:40

Esyllt for a girl, Welsh for Iseult. I can't use it as it doesn't work in England due to the aspirated L. Also DH would never agree.

Harder to choose for a boy, probably Osian.

looloo247 · 29/04/2021 08:43

Jasper and Adeline - both of which were ruled out by my husband unfortunately!

Junebabe · 29/04/2021 10:27

Boy- Peter
Girl- Phoebe
