1-4-3 or 4-1-3?

I think it would depend on the letters as to which is easiest and flows better.

It's hard to say without knowing the names. I tend to prefer longer first names, so I guess option two. One syllable middle names tend to flow very well with most name. Which is why it seems like every second child girl has Rose/Grace/May and James dominates boys middle names.

How the names start and end is also important. Anne Amelia sounds better than Amelia Anne, because there is nothing to break up the vowel sounds. Likewise Fern Natalia has the two N sounds smushed together. But to be honest, I'd just pick my favourite name and put it first, because you'll be saying that significantly more often than first and middle name together.

It really depends on the names I think - either can flow well, but it really depends on the actual names involved.

I have a 2-2-1; a 4-2-1; 3-1-1 and 4-1-1

All flow nicely together

I've
3-3-3-3 and 3-1-3-3

I'm
3-2-3 and DH 2-2-3

I think I'm saying it doesn't matter

It doesn't matter. It completely depends on the names.
