Really love Thea for our DD due in August but have read on here that it's become a bit trendy at the moment.

Could anyone suggest any similar names? I also love Willa but it sounds a bit daft with our surname.

My daughter is two in May and we called her Thea - still yet to meet any other children with the same name. We love the name. Go for it if you love the name!

I have a Thea - named in 2014 and id only ever heard it once before!

There are 3 Thea’s in her school now.....so obviously not quite as 'rare' as I thought.

But it's still beautiful and it means 'gift from God' or goddess.

I have a 10 year old Thea. I love her name. I had never met one before we chose it and they are still few and far between - although one of her best friends is also a Thea!! If you like it, go for it

I love Thea. It might be getting more popular but I imagine it’s got a way to go before there’s 2 or 3 in each class. I also love Tessa.

@KoalaOok i don't live in the UK anymore. But im well known in areas where I used to live due to work I did and will be recognized by my name. They're not friends on FB so they would not know of her or have seen her before iykwim.
