Sister for Juliet?

Recently found out we're having another girl, but I'm really stuck for names. We've a short surname and I like the more traditional ones, but they all seem very popular and I'd like to avoid it! So far I liked:

Felicity (not a fan of 'Fliss' nn though)
Clara (I think it's gaining popularity fast right now)
Emmeline (I'm worried she's be mistaken for Emily!)
Adeline
Josephine

We were also considering Genevieve but rejected it for now.
Are there any other names that are not too popular but traditional? I don't like flower names.

Juliet is fab. Second Sylvie and Miranda, or

Corinna
Fiona
Tamsin

Smurftastic · 09/04/2021 19:23

Thank you all for suggestions. I'm still not sure but I'll be adding some of them to my list. My problem is I like 'Juliet' so much that nothing else measures up!

@MerryMarigold I really loved Viola until I realised it can be pronounced both Vee-ola and Vigh-ola. I think the latter sounds like violence Sad

I really like Emmeline and Josephine from your original list. Smile

SoMuchToBits · 09/04/2021 23:36

Juliet is a fab name. To go with it, Miranda, Isabel or Rosamund. These are some of my favourite girl names. Or Alexandra.

The Juliet I know has a sister called Rosalind (Shakespearean links without being as obvious as say Cordelia, Ophelia or Miranda). On a similar note, I think Helena would work well too (again not too obvious).

Of your choices I think Emmeline fits best (I love Josephine, but I wouldn't go for two J names).

Saltyslug · 10/04/2021 02:30

Ariane
