CHARLOTTE - timeless classic

FELICITY - this is one of those names I genuinely hate but not sure why, nn flick makes me cringe too

POPPY - no, much nicer floral names out there

My favourites are Polly, Alice, Elizabeth, Robyn, Claudia and Heidi

Felicity, Cressida, Gabriella, Francesca, Camilla are a bit fussy for my taste, I don't hate them but not names I would ever choose

Holly, Poppy both feel a bit dated, 90s/00s but again nothing wrong with them

Charlotte is a pretty name but overused over past 30 odd years which would put me off

Hazel, Carey, Cora all a bit meh

I like Polly and Poppy the best. Cora is ok. The rest I'm not keen on.

Polly - cutesy and infantile. Definite no.
Alice - dull, like Alicia though
Claudia - no, negative connotations
Robyn - definite no
Annabelle - too frilly and too many of them
Camilla - no, dated
Carey - as in Jim? Laughable
Charlotte - beautiful, but not Lottie
Elizabeth - lovely
Felicity- dated
Francesca - lovely
Gabriella - too frilly and hate Gabby
Poppy - another that's wet and infantile
Hazel - another no
Cressida - really awful
Heidi - lovely
Holly - boring
Cora- like an apple? Love Cara though.

Polly - like, vintage-y vibe but not overused.
Alice - dislike, boring, increasingly common.
Claudia- elegant and glamorous imo.
Robyn - don't hate it but not my favourite.
Annabel - it's ok, maybe a bit bland.
Camilla - not really a fan.
Carey - don't like it.
Charlotte - I've never liked this name, sorry.
Elizabeth - lovely, lots of nn options.
Felicity - like, pretty.
Francesca - like this too.
Gabriella - yes this is lovely. One of the best on the list.
Poppy - it's sweet but very popular.
Hazel - nooooooo. No. Just no.
Cressida - I like it, a bit different.
Heidi - this is quite nice but a bit twee.

Nice list! My favourites are, in no particular order: Felicity, Charlotte, Cressida, Camilla, Alice, Elizabeth, Holly, Claudia, Polly, Cora and Heidi.

If you like Claudia, Cressida and Cora, can I suggest Cordelia? In theory you could use Cora as a nickname for Cordelia.

I think Carey is a male name. Poppy I find really insubstantial and sickly. Annabel, Francesca, Hazel and Robyn are ok, just not as nice as most others on your list.

Of your list I like the below best:

CLAUDIA - nice, posh vibe
ROBYN - christmas vibe
CAREY - love this as different without being out there. Knew one in her 30s
HAZEL - earthy vibe
CRESSIDA - like this but might be a bit long with no obvious shortenings
HOLLY - christmas vibe

Carey is awful, not keen on Polly but I like most of the others. Really like Alice, Charlotte, Annabel, Elizabeth, Francesca and Gabriella.

Don’t really like any others, sorry. You have a mixed bag of classic names and names that go in and out of style (eg Robyn)

Coming from a Robyn with the Y spelling, I love my name. Not sure whether I'm supposed to, but I do

I love the name Alice, it's my favourite. Also really like Hazel and Heidi but OH's surname starts with a H so sound far too twee (for me!). Charlotte and Francesca are very nice. I'd use Frankie as a nn as opposed to Franny or Fran.

Cressida, felicity, Claudia and camilla are my least favourites. The others are nice but Not names I would personally use.

We've got to choose for 2 - not sure if that makes things easier or harder!
