I know it’s popular but Arthur! Then George I think

Sorry Arther !

Edward or James - I'd be torn between the two (both have always stayed in the top 100 boys names in E&W since records began, so are timeless classics that suit all ages with a lot of great namesakes).

I think James just edges it for me, only because there are currently a lot of Ted/Teddy's about (although some of them may be Theodore's).

George is very classic but reminds me of Georgey Porgey (so feels a bit stodgy/pudding-like to me - childish I know!). Arthur is lovely but too subject to fashion whims, it's very trendy now.

Edward or James, both gorgeous names.

Edward, has a variety of nicknames that can be used with it, an its just a lovely classic name.

My order of preference, although I don't think you can go wrong with any of them

  1. James
  2. Edward
  3. George
  4. Arthur

ooh i don't know, they'll all sound classics and you could combine any of two of them into first and middle name. I'd use James as middle name as there's family connections. I do like Arthur but wonder if it's becoming very popular.

James
