Boys:
Mateo
Oscar

Girls:

I love Paloma and Pia

Easteregghunt1 · 06/04/2021 18:16

Actually just realised a lot end in ia! Haha. I think it's how pronounced the ia is as part of the name. It's the ee ya bit we cant have.

Paloma meets pigeon and dove. Usually Pigeon in Spain, though.

I like Clara, and Pia.

Ines reminds me of MAFS now.

Back in the days when I had a Spanish bf, i used to think that if we ever had a girl I'd want to call her Noelia. Still love the name although Spanish bf is long gone 😂 thankfully before any kids appeared! It's another "ia" one, though.

Gabriela is the only one i really like.
the female one beginning with M, reminds me of a contraceptive coil.

Easteregghunt1 · 06/04/2021 19:30

Haha yes hadnt thought about the coil!
Paloma does mean dove, but much more commonly known to mean pigeon in Spain! I love Noelia and also Nuria but I'm not sure how they work in English. Is Noelia too Christmasssy etc. We already have one child which rules out some of the suggestions above!

There are names which are spelt the same in both English and Spanish though pronounced differently. I don't know if that'd interest you, if so: Julia, Laura, Daniel & David. Though granted no one will see them as Spanish.
