I am absolutely in love with the name Elliott but am stuck for middle name/s. Any suggestions are welcome! :)

I find Elliott Heath Hudson more clunky than Elliott James Hudson. But that could just be me.

loobylou10 · 30/03/2021 20:00

Elliot Peter

Mammabearhudson · 30/03/2021 20:53

I agree. Elliott Heath Hudson sounds too clunky. What a shame though! I do love the heath plants.

Elliott James Hudson is a very fine name.

Ray also came to my mind.

IIN16 · 31/03/2021 09:35

I was going to say James as well!
Elliott Thomas?
Elliott Ray?
Elliott Lucas?
Elliott Martin?

Love Elliot. Was going to name my son Elliot 32 years ago, after a very close friend, Ellen. Elliot James is lovely. I like middle names to be a family name. All of ours have family member names.

Hi all. Just an update. We've decided on two middles, Alexander for definite and the second is in question. We just have so many names we love!
Which one is y'alls favourite?

Elliott Alexander-Ray Hudson
Elliott Alexander-George Hudson
Elliott Alexander-James Hudson
Elliott Alexander-Theo Hudson
Elliott Alexander-Matteo Hudson

Eliot Thomas?
Eliot James?

Bumpsadaisie · 31/03/2021 10:27

Another one who immediately thought James!

Sprig1 · 31/03/2021 10:30

I thought James too. It's clearly the one!

Cindie943811A · 02/04/2021 21:13

I naturally thought James so that obviously a combination that flows to most ears.
I’d go for Elliott James Alexander Hudson.
Or secondly Elliott Alexander James Hudson

SelfMadeFantasist · 02/04/2021 21:17

A one syllable name sounds better after Alexander.

What about John? Elliott Alexander John Hudson flows nicely.

Mammabearhudson · 02/04/2021 21:23

We're currently really liking Elliott Alexander-Ray Hudson. I think it's the perfect combination of modern and traditional names.

I've got an Elliot James Smile

amallierory · 04/04/2021 18:07

I wouldn't hyphenate the middle names. Just leave them as two middle names, rather than hyphenating them into one.

Pedalpushers · 04/04/2021 21:10

I actually think Elliot Alexander-Heath sounds really good.

I think Ray/Rae for girls is really common for middle names these days and I always assume they couldn't think of anything else.

serin · 04/04/2021 23:16

I was going to say Mason but see you have a similar sounding surname.Grin
I think Elliot James Hudson sounds perfect.
