Yes it is a nice name but a silly spelling. Cerys as in Cerys Matthews, however is lovely.

I don't mind Carys with a K - Karis, Karys, but I definitely prefer Cerys with a C. It's a lovely name.

Lovely name - terrible spelling though.

I know a Kerris, she was named after Polkerris in Cornwall, hence the different spelling to Cerys. I like both.

Spelled that way....a parent who either can’t be arsed figuring out the “right way” to spell it or trying too hard to be “yoonique”.

I have a Cerys so am totally biased. I’m not a fan of changing spellings of names, I always think ‘naff’ I’m afraid.

Cerys, Carys, Ceri and Kerry are all nice but I’m not a fan of Kerris. Looks spelt wrong to me.

Kerris is a fairly strong female character in Night of the Triffids. I like it.

Yes but that won't stop everyone thinking it was just spelled wrong. Its harsh looking as well.

Cerys is beautiful, my 2nd daughters middle name. Really don't like kerris at all whether it's cornish or not

Cant find it listed as a cornish name anywhere. The only place i can see it says its a less authentic phonetic spelling of the welsh name Cerys

Beautiful name but much prefer Cerys. Cerys written in this way looks beautiful to my eye as well as my ear.

It's harsh sounding whichever way you spell it.

Kerys looks nicer to me.
