What are your thoughts? He would be Sebastian but will mainly use Seb.

Amy other name suggestions welcomed too x

I like Sebastian but I'm not very keen on Seb. Having said that, I knew two Sebs when I was a student and it suited them both rather well.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 26/03/2021 02:42

Sebastian's nice - well known and international but not overused. Seb is okay, although I think the nn Bash is really cute on a little one (or even Bastian like the Neverending Story, although I suppose that's a bit long for a nn!).

Violetlavenders · 26/03/2021 07:25

Sebastian is ok.

But Seb sounds so soft and oily (sebaceous) to me. Maybe it's the soft ending in b.

Bastian?

I like it and Seb is an unforced shortening of Sebastian.

Seb O'Rhea, aka Dan Druff

I like it.

GreenBalaclava · 26/03/2021 09:29

Love Seb

Sheepareawesome · 26/03/2021 09:31

I have I've. He is sebby or seb and it suits him beautifully. He is the only one in the school too! Just a tip though- don't put his full name on name tapes for clothes you will be sewing forever!!

RuthW · 26/03/2021 12:18

Lovely

TheVanguardSix · 26/03/2021 12:19

My two neighbours are Sebs. It's a lovely diminutive for a great name.

IllNeverLetGoJack · 26/03/2021 12:22

I like it Smile. Well known, but not everywhere.

IllNeverLetGoJack · 26/03/2021 12:22

I think it travels fairly well too.

HeartZone · 26/03/2021 12:29

It’s a yes from me!

Lottystar · 26/03/2021 15:29

I have a Sebastian who likes to go by ‘Seb’, he’s 9 now and I’ve never regretted his name. It’s a great formal name with varying shortened versions, it’s not overused but not so different that it gets mispronounced either. My other son Gabriel is always getting called Gabrielle 🙄

Love Sebastian, one of my favourite names.

My favourite Sebastian is also called Bas.

Really like it. You might also like Seth, Saul or Sol / Solomon.
