Hi guy! Do you like the name Seraphina or Athena better?

Athena

HaNNaHC92 · 20/03/2021 23:32

Not keen on either personally, but Athena is the better one

lottiegarbanzo · 20/03/2021 23:33

Seraphina, I like it.

TheRaccoon · 20/03/2021 23:33

Athena

BackforGood · 20/03/2021 23:37

I don't like either, but Athena is less bad

Cissyandflora · 20/03/2021 23:39

Athena is the posters of the 80s. It’s fine though because the child would grow into the name.

Athena

Seraphina.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 21/03/2021 00:47

Both are pretty but Athena has a stronger, less frilly feel imo (probably a combo of the Goddess of wisdom/warfare link and having one less syllable), so would be my preference.

If you're interested in names in a similar style that are equally uncommon you might also like Marina or Serena. There's also Selena and Sabrina (they have similar but less obvious Goddess/Heavenly links as Athena and Seraphina).

DramaAlpaca · 21/03/2021 02:12

Seraphina is beautiful.

Athena reminds me of that poster shop from the 80s, and the look and sound of it isn't as attractive to me as Seraphina.

Kote · 21/03/2021 02:27

Athena

Athena

Both lovely - I’d go for whatever went best with surname. Slight preference for Athena.

Amdone123 · 21/03/2021 03:25

Seraphina.

Vomadetroit · 21/03/2021 13:50

Athena

Noodlesnoodlesnoodles · 21/03/2021 13:56

Athena - less frilly and seems like a stronger name in terms of its meaning and history.

PandaFluff · 21/03/2021 14:29

I like Athena but it does remind me of the poster shop and Anthea.

RuthW · 21/03/2021 14:29

Seraphina by a mile. Lovely name.
