Olive
Scout
Hayley (not sure on spelling)

I personally love Olive (the other two are not to my taste at all)

Hayley is nice and light
Scout nice as a nn, Olive just makes me think of Popeye, and Olives

I love Olive! I like Hayley too and would probably spell it that way.

Scout is cute on paper, but I'm imagining it on a real woman and in some of the local accents in the UK and it isn't that nice said out loud maybe...

I really like Olive, though it's a bit of a marmite name.

Hayley is dated but always strikes me as a happy sounding name.

Scout is ugly and unattractive.

Scout is a cute fun nickname - perhaps for a Jean (Louise) like in TKAM or maybe for any S name - Serena, Sara, Sophie, Sylvie etc

Hayley is nice but feels very slightly dated (but is still my fave of your 3 choices).

Olive always feels dowdy to me, sorry. I prefer the similar Scandi Liv or Italian Livia (if Olivia is just too popular now).

I associate Scout with To Kill a Mockingbird so I wouldn't pick it myself.

Scout was a nickname for Jean Louise in To Kill A Mockingbird. I don't think it works as a first name.

All the Hayleys I knew growing up were bullies, which put me off the name!

Personally I am not a fan of olive because kids can be cruel and she may get a nasty nickname and I don't like scout at all. Hayley is a really nice nameGrin

Out of the three, I really like Hayley - it's a well known name, but not that commonly used these days. Olive just makes me think of a small, khaki green, oily fruit and Scout is always going to be linked to TKAMB.
