I've loved this name ever since I came across the AA Milne poem called Emmeline when I was a child.

Emmeline is lovely and underused imo and although many people will still associate it with the suffragette, I think that might be a cool namesake for her. Emmy is more popular due to all the Emily's and Emilia's as well as Emmeline's but since it's a nn, that doesn't really matter.

I always think oh the character in Anne of Green Gables (the sequel I think). It's a pretty and unusual name x
