Eleanor, Esther, Fern

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 11/03/2021 22:34

Connie lovely as well!

sarah13xx · 11/03/2021 22:45

In no particular order...
Ellen, Ellis and Pippa are all lovely, they’d be my top 3.
Also really like Rae

EvilOnion · 11/03/2021 22:50

Robyn.

Firebird83 · 11/03/2021 23:19

Esther is my favourite

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 12/03/2021 00:26

Eleanor is beautiful - very classic with lots of nn choice. Esther, Ellen and Fern are also okay for me - neither love nor hate.

DramaAlpaca · 12/03/2021 00:38

Fern is my favourite from the list.

The others I like are Esther, Eleanor, Delilah and Connie - but only if it's short for Constance.

Rae34 · 12/03/2021 00:47

I like Etta, Connie, Robyn and Ellis

Nia18 · 13/03/2021 19:56

Maggie is the name I desperately want for my daughter due in May. Partner won't have it though :(

Etta is another on my list.

Apart from Rae I think they're all beautiful.

Rainbowqueeen · 13/03/2021 19:57

Pippa or Maggie

Ikeameatballs · 13/03/2021 19:59

Eleanor
Maggie
Esther
Connie
Pippa

The rest

Ikeameatballs · 13/03/2021 20:01

I really think it depends upon what the names sound like with any middle name/surname. I would also use Margaret, Constance or Philippa on the BC for Maggie, Connie and Pippa.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 13/03/2021 22:20

The middle name will 💯 be Amelia, as it's my grandmothers name, the surname is a very British surname beginning with H

@partyatthepalace

Etta - Ok. Maggie - OK as a nn for Margaret Eleanor - lovely but overused Connie - great as a nn for Constance/Constancia Pippa - great as a nn for Philippa Robyn - great, though prefer Robin spelling Delilah - nice enough, bit fussy Ellen - great Rae - No. Not a name. Misspelt etc. Ellis - No. A boys name Esther - great Fern - great.
Err Rae has been used for girls since at least the 1800s

I like Esther best

Musmerian · 13/03/2021 22:36

Etta
Connie

Esther - particularly love Esther. I’ve got a Hester.

XiCi · 13/03/2021 22:36

Ellen

MeMeMeYou · 13/03/2021 22:43

Ellen most favourite. Delilah least favourite

MeMeMeYou · 13/03/2021 22:43

I like spelling Ellin or Elin

finallychangedmyusername · 14/03/2021 00:20

Ellen and Eleanor are my favourites. Both gorgeous names.

Lastbonestanding · 14/03/2021 00:30

Maggie

NineOClockOnASaturday · 14/03/2021 00:32

Esther

MercyBodle · 14/03/2021 06:03

I like these, in the same order as you have them:
Maggie
Eleanor
Pippa
Robyn
Ellen
Ellis
Esther

With middle Amelia I would narrow it down to:
Maggie
Eleanor
Ellen
Ellis
Esther

micc · 14/03/2021 06:48
