Yes, it's Welsh. Seren Winter Surname has been the plan but I've been having a last minute wonder about switching the names. Pleased with the response to Seren.

I used to live in Wales and loved the name Seren. However, when I floated it as a name for my daughter I realised English people just don't say it properly (me included). If you are Welsh, then lovely choice!

Seren - it's lovely and fairly well known, but not overused. Winter is very cool (no pun intended!) but it's one of those names that could risk dating more or becoming trendy - would make an excellent middle name though.

I'd have to go for winter because I can't say Seren without silently saying dipity
