DD is Rosie. SD is Ruby.

We want a name that DOESN'T begin with R.

Suggestions?

That's not really much to go off. Can you give us a few examples of names you like so we can get a feel for your taste?

And is it for a boy or a girl?

Sticking with the red theme, Scarlett or Rufus!

breadbinbaby · 03/03/2021 12:20

Scarlet would be extremely cute Grin

EdgeOfACoin · 03/03/2021 12:40

I was going to say Scarlett

partyatthepalace · 03/03/2021 12:51

Scarlet, Rory or Rufus would be cute!

Girls - I like Sara too (but the mispronouncing as Sarah would get annoying) - I like Sarah but it’s quite staid compared to Rosie and Ruby - you could use Sadie as a nn for Sarah?? Or Lara, Zoe, Lauren, Luella, Phoebe, Chloe, Stella, Clara, Cleo, Juno, Arran, Erin

Boys - I think Aaron goes well, or Oscar, Hugo, Milo, Jacob nn Jake, Jackson, Ethan, Evan, Lucas, Samuel nn Sam, Nathaniel or Nathan nn Nate, Christopher nn Kit,

Broccoliflorets · 03/03/2021 13:05

Jessica
Erin

Jack
Ellis

noname55 · 03/03/2021 13:09

I was going to suggest Louisa! I think that goes well.
I like Aaron too. I'd go for them.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 03/03/2021 13:45

You could stick with 2 syllables so they "flow" well together and as a nice link - but without the y/ie or R beginning so they don't "match". Sara and Aaron are nice (and Sara is more popular than Sarah now). Other ideas:

Lara
Clara
Laura
Thea
Charlotte
Alice
Erin
Anna
Emma
Eva
Maya
Freya
Iris (maybe too flowery with Rosie?)

Adam
Edward
Thomas
Ethan
Ezra
Jacob
Joseph
Isaac
Samuel
David
Peter
Michael
Caleb
