Help with girl’s middle name please

Hello,

We’ve agreed on Emilia for a first name and trying to now decide on middle name(s).

We are considering Rose as it has significance with both of our families. We might change that or have 2 middle names.

Any opinions & other ideas?

Emilia Rose is pretty

There will be a lot of Emilia Rose's out there, if that bothers you (as both are popular names and it's a pretty combo). You could maybe consider adding another 3 syllable middle name - like Emilia Imogen Rose, Emilia Isabel Rose, Emilia Vivien Rose, Emilia Josephine Rose, Emilia Madeleine Rose etc

I agree that Emilia Rose on its own, whilst pretty, will be a relatively popular combination.
I love the idea of Emilia Imogen Rose.

A 3 syllable middle name works well in there.

Pretty but a very popular combo so I think sticking another name in there for some individuality is a good idea

Emilia Rose is pretty but Rose and Grace are the current equivalent of Louise and Ann when it comes to middle names

Nothing wrong with it but probably 50% of other girls with Emilia as first name will have Rose as their middle do personally I would go for something else

When I saw Emilia my brain instinctively put Rose there. You have family connections so it is lovely. It's lovely, it's simple, it's classic it doesn't need another name - unless you want to use mine, she could be Emilia Rosemary!

I always wanted to pick a name that wasn’t too common but there are lots of names Hubbie isn’t keen on.

I do love Emilia Rose so won’t be upset if we just stick with that.

I have 2 middles so happy to do that for baby too. I think our list is now...

I think Charlotte is nice but that’s three super popular names, Annabelle and Sienna are just too frilly with Rose, Ava doesn’t go, Madison is too made up, Nora I just think is ugly (sorry!)

Rose is common middle name but it's beautiful and classic and so there's nothing wrong with using it. Plus it has family meaning for you.

From your list I like Emilia Sienna rose.

Emilia Cecily Rose was first to come to mind.

Middle names are sort of "private" - so who worries if other people will have it as a second name (and I doubt many will have it for a significant reason). Go for it and enjoy. (TBH would be more concerned that about 50% of girls have been called Emily/Emilia for the last 25 years)
