Is this name very popular? What do you think?

I like it!
I don't know any so not sure of its popularity

The Teenage Witch...

I don't dislike the name, but that's the first thing I think of Grin

AppleInTheAss · 27/02/2021 19:29

Also I've read different things about the names origin. Is Sabrina Arabic, because I'm not neither is DH.

Lovely name. Underused, in my opinion.

bootlebum · 27/02/2021 19:29

Love it

very positive feedback Smile
I keep finding myself attracted to names that I find out have Persian or Arabic origin. Little jealous of their beautiful names. I think Sabrina has been used enough here that it wouldn't raise any eyebrows?

Sabrina the teenage witch was a show I loved so don't mind that connection. Also like Soraya..

Lovely name. One of my dearest friends is called Sabrina - she is German - has never met another one "over here" she says!

FoggyDay58 · 27/02/2021 19:37

Love it and would've used for my DD if DH had allowed it.

finallychangedmyusername · 27/02/2021 19:40

Lovely name, not very common but recognisable. I won't assume Arabian heritage. I also like Sabina.

Aurorie11 · 27/02/2021 19:41

Makes me think of the film with Audrey Hepburn playing Sabrina. Like it

Mol1628 · 27/02/2021 19:42

I know an adult Sabrina (UK) I think it’s a great name. She does get a lot of Sabrina the teenage witch comments!

BarbaraofKent · 27/02/2021 19:43

Teenage Witch. For sure.

Lovely. I also thought of Audrey Hepburn and "Sabrina Fair".

TenShortStories · 27/02/2021 19:46

I like it. Also Serena, which I probably like even more.

ILoveStickers · 27/02/2021 19:59

I like it.

Usually associated with the deity of the River Severn, I thought, so very English. Though perhaps it's an Arabic name too.

YoniAndGuy · 27/02/2021 20:01

Lovely. I know one, in her 20s. Use it!

partyatthepalace · 27/02/2021 20:02

Another one for teenage witch! But I like it and no one will remember the show when she grows up.

It's a latinate name but from the UK, may well be Arabic also.

Love it!

Sabrina is the Latin form of the Welsh Hafren, Goddess of the River Severn.

Gorgeous name. I'd use it.

Calibrachoa · 27/02/2021 21:39

It's not my favourite

EileenGC · 27/02/2021 21:41

I went to school with a Sabrina, she was such a lovely girl. Her twin brother was Gabriel. Gorgeous name.
