Opinions on Reuben William?
And would you spell it Ruben or Reuben?

Lovely! I would spell it Reuben. Ruben looks a bit to much like it should be pronounced rub in!

There are two Reubens in my dd's class at school btw, so it may be getting more popular if that bothers you.

Reuben is the traditional and biblical spelling. The only Rubens I know of are of Spanish or Portuguese heritage. Gorgeous name. Although I’m biased as I have one

This is the proper UK spelling, if you spell it any other way he’ll forever be correcting people. It is getting popular though..

The last name makes the whole thing flow better I'm sure everyone would agree but obvs cannot disclose that haha!

Yeah Reuben James is lovely 💕 I called my son Reuben Day. Janes is his grandads name and we don’t like the tradition of passing down names

William is gorgeous. I'm not keen on Reuben but there's nothing wrong with it (I just don't like the sound - I'm not fond of similar Rupert either). Spell it Reuben though, I think Ruben looks a bit odd to me.

The only person I know who has called their child Reuben is VER posh, so I'd think posh. He's unfortunately also a twat which probably gives me an unpleasant associate with the name.

We have a 14 month old Reuben so obviously we like it.
