So I'm 20 weeks with my 3rd baby we've found out it's a boy we have 2 girls already Keira abs Myla my fiancé likes Charlie but I like Owen it Oliver it's not that I don't like Charlie just I don't love it 🤷‍♀️

He would be called Charlie Michael Edwin french just don't know if I'm set on it or not

Any other boy suggestions I can sling at my OH ?

Thanks x

Owen is gorgeous and works well with Keira and Myla imo. Charlie is okay but more subject to fashion whims than Charles (nn Charlie). Olivier is lovely but just too popular for me.

Other suggestions - Evan, Dylan, Max, Oscar, Felix, Ethan, Logan, Rowan.

I’m not keen on Charlie. Owen is nicer. So are Michael and Edwin.

Dyinghouseplant · 12/02/2021 14:23

I don't mind Charlie but it just feels a bit incomplete to me. Love Owen.

CharlieBoo · 12/02/2021 21:41

I have a big Teenage Charlie now, but I always loved it since I was a kid.. I don’t think it goes particularly with your girls names though so would with Owen or Oliver x

LadyOfTheFlowers · 12/02/2021 21:45

I find Charlie a bit 'meh' 🤷🏼‍♀️

Bluesername · 12/02/2021 21:46

Charlie is OK, although I prefer Edwin.

ThreeTwoOneBlastOff · 12/02/2021 21:49

When I had my DS it seemed like every boy was called Charlie. I find it massively overused and a bit dull.

Onlinedilema · 12/02/2021 22:00

Owen is much nicer than Charlie.

lucymagoo · 12/02/2021 23:00

I'm having the same dilemma! 27 weeks now and my husband is set on Charlie, I have no feelings either way towards it, it's fine I guess? I don't love it but can't think of any I do love.

partyatthepalace · 13/02/2021 01:10

I like Charlie (as a nn for Charles), but don’t think it goes all that well with your daughter’s names, neither does Oliver - Owen is a much better match.

Other suggestions - Rory, Reuben, Jonah, Dylan, Ezra, Kester, Kit (nn for Kester or Christopher), Aaron, Aiden, Nathan

Pyewhacket · 13/02/2021 01:24

My eldest daughter is called Charlie.

abitfunny · 13/02/2021 08:08

It’s great for a girl!

PolarnOPirate · 13/02/2021 08:11

Nah, not Charlie. You can do better :) As PPs have said, it's just fine.

Mylasmummy2102 · 13/02/2021 08:54

Yeah I agree just need to try and convince my OH and think of another name we both like he likes Cody but I really don't! The middle names are Michael and Edwin as that's our dads names so has to be something o go with that

Amdone123 · 13/02/2021 09:01

No to Cody ! I don't dislike Charlie, but it has to be something you both love. I don't like Owen. I love Oliver though ! Olly is great, too.

ThreeTwoOneBlastOff · 13/02/2021 09:39

If you don’t both love Charlie then you can’t use Charlie, it’s as simple as that really.

Mylasmummy2102 · 13/02/2021 09:41

No he loves Charlie but I don't!

OP posts:
ThreeTwoOneBlastOff · 13/02/2021 09:45

Exactly, that’s what I mean. You have to both love it, not just one of you. And if you don’t then it can’t be used.

I prefer Charlie for girls nowadays.

How about:

Edward nn Eddie
Joseph nn Joey
Isaac
Riley
George
Zachary nn Zack
Leon
Jake
Luke
