I cant can't connect to any names, we have a Bertie, and a Penny who we heartbreaking lost at 34 weeks, now in need of another boy name.
Dh likes Archie and Monty I can't warm to them but I have nothing to offer, I like cute not super popular names if you can help me out 🙃

Very sorry for your loss, OP.

Other name suggestion for Bertie and Penny's brother:
Rufus
Phillip (Pip/Flip)
Nicholas (Nico)
Edmund (Teddy)
Wilfred (Wolfie)
John/Jonathan (Johnny/Jonty)
Christopher (Kit/Topher)

I like the suggestion of Henry, Toby, Laurie (Laurence), Hugh and Peter.

Greendoonan · 12/02/2021 13:53

I watched a film with a character called Abbot, nickname Abbie. Thought it was quite nice.

mousepen · 12/02/2021 14:50

Just woke after a rare nap! Thanks so much for the suggestions! I shall offer them up and see if any are possibles

Artie for Arthur
Kit or Christy for Christopher/Kester
Albie for Albert
Arnie for Arnold
Ernie for Ernest
Teddy for Edward/Theodore
Jamie for James (unusual right now!)
Sandy for Alexander
Pip for Philip
Bobby, Robbie or Robin for Robert
Ricky for Richard
Tommy for Thomas
Barney for Barnaby/Barnabus
Gus for Angus or Augustus
Milo
Rory
Rupert
Diggory

For the abbreviations I would use a full name on the birth cert, because they are all quite nursery and he’ll want to have some options when he’s older.

Congrats BTW!

Flowers so sorry for your loss.
I haven't RTFT but my suggestion would be Herbie or Wilfred (Wilfie)
I also quite like Percy.

roarfeckingroarr · 13/02/2021 16:08

I have an Arthur who I call Artie bear. Of the other suggestions I also love Toby and Percy.

mousepen · 13/02/2021 16:36

Wow so many suggestions thank you. Finding it so hard, not sure if I'm just disconected at the moment. I do like Arlo but not love it, might just have to be a wait and see situation, seems so difficult this time normally its too big of list now we don't even have a list.

My baby is due in a week - don’t know if it’s a boy or girl and we have no names either 😂😂

I’m just gonna wait til and the baby is here and figure it out!

Hope you find a name you love ❤️

Lalliella · 14/02/2021 00:20

So sorry for the loss of baby Penny.

I think Freddie would go well with Bertie.

Lalliella · 14/02/2021 00:21

Or Alfie

Ellada19 · 14/02/2021 01:42

Harry
Kip
Wes
Josh
Jules

Or if Bertie is actually Bertram nn Bertie then:
Alfred nn Alfie
Phillip nn Pip
Sebastian nn Seb
Solomon nn Solly
Johann nn Han

Archie & Monty are cool too 😎

mousepen · 02/03/2021 19:32

Hey! Thanks so much for all the suggestions, still no further along. I can't warm to archie, I've tried, I just pull a "meh" face.

We for some reason really like Dustin nn Dusty, - but is this even a name for a person lol.

And I like raffy, but I don't really like rafferty.

Its so hard to even conect with my history so I'm hoping to think of a name will be the first step.
Thanks for your suggestions!!
