Too popular.

Champy87 · 11/02/2021 13:30

I only know two IRL. One is 5 and based in the south east and one is 3 and based in the north west.

HurricaneBitch · 11/02/2021 13:31

NE, I know 3, ages 8-12.

LST · 11/02/2021 13:31

Pretty popular in our house as its my dogs name! But my ds who is 7 has 2 in his class and my ds who is 9 has 1 in his too

villamariavintrapp · 11/02/2021 14:02

Know 3 or 4, think it peaked a couple of years ago though probably

PubsClosed · 11/02/2021 14:03

Not very, as far as I can tell.

I know one and he is 14.

Dyinghouseplant · 11/02/2021 14:04

I never knew any until recently - two born late 2020.

Whatsyourflava · 11/02/2021 14:04

Here's the way to check if it's peaked using official ONS government figures
(answer: yes it has peaked and is falling)

I don't know any.

emmathedilemma · 11/02/2021 14:14

fairly common in the primary age population I would say (Scotland)

PattyPan · 11/02/2021 16:08

I know one and he’s 22.

HagridsUmbrella · 11/02/2021 16:10

Very popular at secondary age (I work in a secondary school), does seem less popular with little ones.

DowntonCrabby · 11/02/2021 16:11

I have one, aged 8. There is a younger one in the school, age 4 or 5 and I’ve occasionally heard it at the big play park.

It’s MUCH more popular around here though for westies and springer spaniels. Grin

Shelby30 · 11/02/2021 16:16

Central Scotland and theres 1 in my girls class at nursery and she's 3. Colleague at work has nephew with same name he about same age.

I had a boss called Archie about 15 years ago and he was about 60 I just see it as an old man name but I know it's popular now.

BlueTimes · 11/02/2021 16:21

I know one who started secondary school this year.

Meowtha · 11/02/2021 16:24

3 in goddaughters nursery class, south east.

combatbarbie · 11/02/2021 16:28

My uncle in his 50s

zingally · 11/02/2021 17:54

I only know one, and he's probably about 10 now. I'm a primary school teacher, and haven't met an Archie in a few years. I think it's probably peaked.

Chilldonaldchill · 11/02/2021 21:37

In London...
I know about 5 but they are from the ages of 10-17.

Firebird83 · 11/02/2021 22:59

I think it peaked a while ago. Everyone is using Albie now in my area (SW)

Sprockerdilerock · 12/02/2021 18:11

I know 2, one is 13 and the other about 70!
