Hey ladies! 💁🏼‍♀️ Today I need help with girls names... 😅

Twin girls due in a few months... And I need help! 😭

Right now me and the hubby love these names:

Aspen
Aubrey
Cleo
Emerson
Esme
Harlow
Liberty
Nevaeh
Nora
Presley
Sloane

Any of these names sound good together? Please give me some ideas too! ☺️🙌

(For context, I already have two other children, Ainsley and Landon).

Clio and Thea
Clio and Zoe
Aspen and Liberty
Adeline and Aubrey

Esme and Nora are beautiful & would make a lovely pair!

steppemum · 08/02/2021 10:50

Obviously we have different taste in names, but a couple of comments

Aspen
Aubrey
Cleo
Emerson - this sounds like a boys name
Esme
Harlow
Liberty
Nevaeh - this is awful, sorry, really dislike this name
Nora
Presley- All I can think of is Elvis, so this is a no.
Sloane

Hersetta427 · 08/02/2021 10:53

Most sound too masculine or sound like a surname. Not particularly keen on any but the best of the bunch are Nora and cleo.

RichAssWhoopin · 08/02/2021 13:05

Liberty & Nora

DuckonaBike · 08/02/2021 13:14

Aubrey is a boy’s name! Did you mean Audrey? If so it’s lovely.

Nora and Esme really nice as well. Either of those would go well with Audrey.

finallychangedmyusername · 08/02/2021 19:35

For girls? Emerson and Aubrey are boys names. Presley is a surname.

From your list I'm afraid the only two I like are Cleo and Esme, and actually think these fit well together for twins! Cleo and Esme.

notalwaysalondoner · 08/02/2021 19:38

Aspen - I'd assume it was a boy's name but it is lovely and unusual (and I don't normally like plant or more American sounding names)
Aubrey - quite popular, trendy
Cleo - not a fan, would think it should be short for Cleopatra
Emerson - boy's name ('son' is in the name...)
Esme - lovely, my favourite!
Harlow - OK
Liberty - also lovely
Nevaeh - nope
Nora - classic and beautiful
Presley - Elvis
Sloane - not a fan, associate it with posh braying Sloane Square 80s stereotype

My top two would be Esme and Nora; Esme and Aubrey; Nora and Aubrey; and Aspen and Esme also go well together.

Five67Eight · 08/02/2021 19:40

Type ‘Aubrey’ into google, and the first five or six faces come up are women’s.

It’s a unisex name now.

Besides, clearly the OP likes masculine / surname type names, so even if it is a ‘boys name’, I think that’s what she’s going for.

Marlena1 · 08/02/2021 19:46

I love the below from your list
Cleo
Aubrey
Harlow

Could you have Cleo with Cassie to have a theme? I know Cassie was the voice of doom but a nice sound.

Marlena1 · 08/02/2021 19:48

Actually Cleo and Thea (pp suggestion) is lovely

Notgotanyidea · 08/02/2021 19:52

Cleo and Nova or Alba

esee22 · 08/02/2021 19:55

Esme and Cleo are lovely!

Lelophants · 08/02/2021 19:56

I like Aspen and Aubrey, as long as you're happy with lots of A's. Please not Sloane.

YouWontBelieveYourEyes · 08/02/2021 20:53

Sloane and Nevaeh are terrible.

MoorHeather · 08/02/2021 22:02

Aubrey and Sloane are stunning together!

Sheleg · 08/02/2021 23:24

Aspen - no
Aubrey - no
Cleo - lovely

Emerson - awful
Esme - nice
Harlow - no
Liberty - no
Nevaeh - noooooo
Nora - lovely
Presley - awful
Sloane - awful

Happenchance · 09/02/2021 21:36

I prefer Nerea to Nevaeh and Audrey to Aubrey

I don’t like Liberty and I think your daughter may resent it if she wants a career as a Police Officer, Prosecutor, Criminal Grin etc.

Other suggestions:
Lois
Hadley
Mallory
Marnie
Autumn
Elise
Celeste nn CeCe

partyatthepalace · 09/02/2021 21:44

Cleo and Esme are nice and go nicely together, Liberty is Ok

Rest are pretty grim, Nevaeh in particular is v v v downmarket, the rest are pretty downmarket.

Twisique · 10/02/2021 19:48

Mallory is good! How about Mallory and Aspen?

makinganavalon · 10/02/2021 20:33

Agree with poster- in SE England Harlow is a no. (Imo anywhere else for that matter)
I really like Esme and think Nora also ok.
But whoever suggested Mallory I think that's lovely

Whatsyourflava · 10/02/2021 22:16

I LOVE

Aubrey
Cleo
Esme
Liberty
Nora

TheRedFox · 10/02/2021 22:20

I think we've got different taste in names but these are my thoughts FWIW:

Aspen - a place / boys' name
Aubrey - also a boys' name
Cleo - makes me think of the car
Emerson - a boys' name
Esme - ok
Harlow - an awful town in Essex - another place name
Liberty - ok
Nevaeh - heaven backwards - no
Nora - ok
Presley- Elvis' surname
Sloane - not keen - another place name

MiddleOfThePack · 10/02/2021 22:22

Aspen and Liberty. No reason other than they just sound lovely together.

Some of the other combos don't trip off the tongue and you will be using both their names together all the time!

DragonPoop · 10/02/2021 22:23

Aubrey and Sloane are nice together
