Baby name ideas

Hello there. I'm probably getting way ahead of myself, but I'm 17 weeks pregnant and looking at baby names. I've found a few I like but my husband has been very non-committal. My favourite girls names so far are Melody, Isabelle and Zoe, with middle names such as Robyn, Nia or Rose. My favourite boys names are Alexander, Benjamin and William. Middle name would definitely be Robert, after our late son.

What other names could I add to the list to try and inspire my husband?

How about Robyn as first name? Robyn Isabelle would be really nice. All the boys names are good IMO.

Thank you all for the lovely suggestions. I particularly like Katy, Lily and Scarlett for girls plus Christopher, Nathaniel and Sebastian for boys. I do love the name Robyn but I worry that its too close to Robert for the first name.

@FluffyEggsontoast- Thank you. It's wonderful being pregnant again but we will always miss our little boy.

Isabelle Robyn or Zoe Robyn would both be lovely. I think Robyn for a middle name is a wonderful tribute to Robert. I’d suggest Nina, Anya, Florence or Eliza also for other ideas. Please use Benjamin for a first name if you have a boy, it’s my favourite boys name! Also Congratulations to you!

We are having a boy! Leaning towards Benjamin and a couple of middle names. One after his late brother and maybe Enfys (Welsh for Rainbow).

Congrats! Benjamin is cute (although I prefer similar Benedict but that's just personal taste). I loved your choices of Alexander and William though (I tend to like classic names too - those two are on my list along with Edward, James, Frederick, Samuel, Michael, Peter, John and Robert!)

Enfys makes a fun middle name to add to Robert- reminds me a bit of my fave Welsh boys name Emrys.

For girls how about Ismene (Is-may-nee), Lois, Marianne, Estella, Rosanna, Jasmine, Cecily, Eloise, Meredith. Or for boys - Tobias, Nathaniel, Joshua, Patrick, Lawrence, Hugh, Miles, Tristan, Noah, Jacob
