Thea Olivia (Surname) is what I’d pick from your list.

BackforGood · 30/01/2021 19:40

I like Thea

SionnachRua · 30/01/2021 19:44

Fern, Freya, Keira, Evelyn - all nice names
Olivia and Bella - both very bland, boring and generic
Elsie and Georgie - twee
Thea and Everly - don't like at all

I'd go for Fern or Evelyn from your list.

Firebird83 · 30/01/2021 19:48

Fern

JiltedJohnsJulie · 30/01/2021 19:50

Not Olivia or Evelyn, they've both been a little too popular recently.

From your list I'd chose Fern or Thea.

TempsPerdu · 30/01/2021 20:04

Fern and Thea stand out for me too. I find Elsie, Georgie and Bella too cutesy/twee, and the others are a bit dull and overdone.

Bluesername · 30/01/2021 20:06

I like:
Keira
Olivia
Georgia (you can always use Georgie as nickname)
Elsie (as a nickname for Elspeth)

Freya and Fern are a bit wispy sounding. Eve/Evie/Ava/Eva names have been super-popular very recently.

MBb217 · 30/01/2021 20:09

Olivia or Freya but lovely name list!

Maybemay123 · 30/01/2021 20:10

None are offensive I like
Fern
Olivia
Freya
Evelyn/ Everly
Elsie
Thea
(Elsie and Freya probably my favourite).
Not keen on Georgie, Bella and keira but that's just personal preference.

toolazytothinkofausername · 30/01/2021 20:11

I like how unique Everly is.

Krazynights34 · 30/01/2021 20:13

Everly- wonderful! That name makes me smile

Ithinkhedidit · 30/01/2021 20:14

My top three would be Freya, Olivia and Bella. I really dislike Evelyn/Everly and Elsie. Fern is quite nice and a bit more unusual if that's important to you.

niknakpak · 30/01/2021 20:17

Thanks everyone, so many different opinions / preferences! I already have a Rose (we call her Rosie) if that makes any difference, she's 6. Rosie and Fern might be too plant-y?!

OP posts:
SionnachRua · 30/01/2021 20:21

Oh I think Rose and Fern is a bit too plant-y, yeah. Rose is a great choice for first name btw! I always hear of it as a middle but never as a first name.

@theory101

But Rosie and Violet sounds great !
Does it? I think that's worse Grin Plant-y AND paint-y!
ellenpartridge · 30/01/2021 20:42

Freya

Babyfg · 30/01/2021 20:50

Love Rosie. It was on my list so I would have had a Rosie and a Freya but we had a boy. I think the names go lovely together. Feminine but not frilly

partyatthepalace · 30/01/2021 22:06

Love Evelyn and Freya
Like Fern and Keira too and less common
Olivia is nice but SO popular right now
I don’t like Thea or Elsie
Bella and Georgie are nns - I think you’d need a full name on the birth cert
Everly - this is just weird

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 30/01/2021 22:11

Since you have a Rose, I'd personally go with something similarly classic. Of your choices Olivia is the closet to that (despite being very popular). Thea my second (although this is slightly "of the moment" too). Evelyn would be my third choice (but a bit retro/subject to fashion whims),

Most of the rest of your list seems a bit too trendy sounding to fit with Rose imo, perhaps with the exception of Fern but that is quite botanical with Rose.

Names that fit well with Rose to me (all shortish and fairly traditional sounding) - Anna, May, Laura, Alice, Lara, Grace, Julia/Juliet, Isabel, Clara, Eve/Eva, Nina, Sarah/Sara, Cora.

Kote · 30/01/2021 22:21

Thea

ArosAdraDrosDolig · 30/01/2021 22:24

Elsie is my favourite from your list.

Carouselfish · 30/01/2021 22:43

I like Fern and Keira op.

Passiveobserver · 30/01/2021 22:51

Freya, sounds good on a child and an adult, a beautiful name in my opinion

cautiouscovidity · 30/01/2021 22:52

Fern - Makes me think of Fearne Cotton (not good!)

Keira - Ok. A bit dull.

Olivia - Not keen. Over-used

Freya - V popular at the moment. Every other child at nursery is a Freya!

Evelyn/ Everly - I like Evelyn, not Everly

Elsie - Love this

Thea - ok

Georgie - Nope.

Bella - Another very popular name. Would assume short for Isabella (which I prefer).
